1950’s Love

Date: 20th January – 29th February 

Time: 9.30am – 2.00pm

Location: Bejta Artisan Gallery, Mons. Guzeppi Farrugia Street, Victoria

A brand new body of work created by the artists at Bejta Artisan Gallery, celebrating love with a 1950’s flavour. This exhibition is closed on Sundays. Free Entrance.

Valentine’s Artisan Fair

Date: 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th February

Time: 10.00am – 6.00pm

Location: Villa Rundle Gardens, Victoria

Stroll through the Villa Rundle Gardens and enjoy a variety of genuine handmade goods made by local artisans. The fair will feature a vast assortment of goods for sale, including crafts, personal care products and art and local handmade food products, all of which truly reveal the artisans’ passion and make for great, unique gifts. Shop, stroll and eat. Free Entrance.

Love is Love

Date: Saturday, 8th February

Location: Amphitheatre Villa Rundle Gardens, Victoria

LGBTIQ Gozo invites the public to a human library experience. 4 storytellers will tell us about their journey for love and will challenge prejudice about queer love. On that day be sure to check out LGBTIQ Gozo’s love signs across Villa Rundle. Free Entrance.

 A festival of performing arts, with nibbles and drinks for the special occasion. Free Entrance.

Lovers’ Cards

Date: 7th till the 12th February

Time: 8.00am – 3.00pm (Monday to Friday) l 8.00am – 11.00am (Saturday).

Location: Sannat Local Council Hall, Sannat

An exhibition by the Gozo Philatelic Society highlighting an assortment of 100 year-old, original, vintage love letters, exchanged between the amorous soldier from the battlefield and the beloved. Free entrance.

Captured Love

Date: 8th February

Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm.

Location: Citadel Theatre Hall, Citadel Cultural Centre, Victoria

The Gozo Film Festival presents to you two love-related short movies, “Losin’ You” and “Dar ir-Rummien”, which will be shown at 10am, 11am & 12pm. “Dar ir-Rummien” (“The Pomegranate House”) is set on the island of Gozo, and depicts a heart-warming portrait of young love through the generations. “Losin’ You” is about a young musician seeking inspiration through personal memories indirectly connected with the Azure Window. Inspiration is reflected through nostalgic moments of her love life which allow her to create a beautiful song. Free Entrance.

Vivid Victoria on Canvas

Drive-in Movie Night

What better way to celebrate Valentine’s if not by snuggling up to loved ones and watching a feelgood movie? Enjoy a Sunday evening in Gozo by visiting this one-off drive-in movie theatre, an event where families and loved ones can watch movies from the comfort of their own cars. The movies featured are classics within the love-theme universe, perfect for the Valentine mood of the week. Kids will fall in love with the animation that has stood the test of time while adults will be intrigued by the story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father, as told through ABBA’s hit songs. Autism Friendly Cinema Screening of Aladdin

A relaxed and sensory-friendly screening of Aladdin at Citadel Cinema aimed at families and people of all ages.
