It is our pleasure to invite the women of Gozo to a free workshop for anyone who is interested in starting their own business or embarking on a freelance career. We would like to encourage you to come to the workshop to find out a little more about how to start out on your own, whether this is a viable path for you and guide you through a few first steps to get started right then and there at the workshop!
This workshop is offered as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), the Malta chapter of which is hosted by the Edward de Bono Institute at the University of Malta (www.um.edu.mt/create). Global Entrepreneurship Week is a worldwide initiative that promotes entrepreneurship by offering free information and support to those who want to be self-employed.
JobsPlus Gozo has kindly agreed to support us in our efforts, so we would like to thank them in advance for sharing their knowledge at the workshop.
First steps towards working freelance or self-employed
When: Thu, 15 Nov, 9.30 – 11.00
Where: Ministry For Gozo Hall
Where do I start?
What can I do?
How can I make it real?
Becoming a freelancer or starting a one-woman-business is a great alternative to employment for many women. You can determine when and where you work, how many hours you want to invest each week and who you work with.
This workshop is aimed at women in Gozo who are thinking about starting to work on their own terms. Together we figure out what it is you have to offer, who might want it and how you can reach them.
A representative of JobsPlus Gozo will be present to give you information about what schemes are available and which government agency can help with what.
We look forward to welcoming you at the workshop.
