The Federazzjoni Maltija Vetturi Antiki (FMVA) has announced that that this year’s Vintage Motors Festival will take place on Saturday, the 10th and Sunday, the 11th of March 2018.
The Festival will start at St. Elmo in Valletta on the Saturday and finish in Ghajnsielem in Gozo on Sunday.
The FMVA is inviting members of the public to view a wide range of beautiful classic and vintage machines dating from around the 1920s to the late 1970s.
There will be 3 rotating shows in: Qala, Ghansielem & Zebbug. This means that all 3 different shows will “rotate” and visit all 3 villages. The times will be from 9.00 till 11.00, 11.15 to 13.15 and 13.00 to 15.30. All times approximate and depending on traffic conditions.
There will also be a pictorial treasure hunt starting from M’forn at 10.00 am with a half-way stop in Dwejra at 11.00 am. Part 2 of this treasure hunt will be at 11.30 and will finish at Ghansielem at 12.30.
This event will be the 10th of its kind and is being supported by the Ministry for Gozo and various Local Councils in both Gozo and Malta.
