Around 250 participants will be exhibiting their work at this year’s traditional Wirja Agrarja – Agricultural and Craft Fair, in Nadur. This fair is being organised as part of the celebrations for the Imnarja feast.
The Greenfields, Spiru Sillato, the Mnarja Folk Group and Ta’ Cangura Folk Group will be providing the entertaiment.
Visitors to the fair will be able to enjoy a variety of events, including an exhibition of local farm products, livestock, crafts, artisans, antique farming tools, traditional ghana, as well as Gozitan food and wine tasting. Pets and livestock will be blessed on Sunday morning.
The fair will be held in l-Arcipriet Martin Camilleri Square, from 8:00 pm onwards on the Saturday, and on Sunday from 8:00am onwards. This year’s fair is being organised by the Nadur Local Council and the Parliamentary Secretariat for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights.
