Ta’ Mena is a small family run business producing authentic local typical Gozitan food and wines!
Our idea is to present a product with a difference to our guests. At Ta’ Mena we offer something more than sun, sea and comfort, in fact we strive to present Gozo’s history, folklore and culture.
We have a large range of local products and wines such as our Traditional Sweet Tomato Paste, Pure Gozo Honey, Jams, Cheeses, Pates, liquors and our Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Most of the fruits, olives, herbs and vegetables come from our Estate, and they are all produced using traditional methods and slow cooking with natural ingredients only.
Our wines are characterised by the “Island Effect”, and are produced in our winery and made only from local Gozitan grapes. Our blends have been certified as GOZO D.O.K. Wines, the highest wine certification in Malta.
Through Ta’ Mena Gozo, you will learn about our wines and food processing, symbol of our Gozitan culture and family traditions.
Wine Tours and Tastings at Ta’ Mena
Guided tours are currently being held at Ta’ Mena Winery in Xewkija and are usually done every Saturday at 12.30pm. Pre-booking is required via email.
