Tal-Furnar Restaurant and Bakery has been a bakery for the past hundred years specializing in local traditional baked goods . The bakery in its self is a Maltese landmark. Seven years ago the family run business expanded and turned the bakery into a Restaurant as well as being a… bakery at the same time. The Restaurant specializes in local traditional and homemade cuisine cooked in the old stone oven while using recipes which have been in the family for over 4 generations. The restaurant uses locally grown produce to cook in typical seasonal dishes along with making their wine from their own vine yard. Tal-Furnar also offers demonstrations of sour dough bread and Gozitan Ftira making were the guests get to see and take part in the process of making these local delicacies.
