This was the third trip that we made to ta vittorja And each experience got worse than the last. The owner Joseph Galea is probably the cheapest man to walk among us. In 2020 he still charges for use of WiFi, 3 years ago in our last trip we had reported a broken umbrella, that wasn't replaced, guess what it still hasn't been replaced. He advertises the property as sleeps 18 adults, there aren't enough plates or glasses for 18 people with some of them chipped and cracked as well. He advertises the property as having AC but there isn't an AC in every bedroom or in the common areas. I wasn't the one who dealt with him on the first two trips and maybe I am a little less patient than my elderly aunties but he harassed us for payment before the trip when he doesn't know how to use revolut and I wonder if his income is declared. I will never recommend any of his properties to my worst enemy let alone my friends or family. He is operating a business that was set up in the 80s in the same way with the same equipment as when he first started. Never again
Had 2 rooms booked for this weekend (Easter), which we cancelled via Booking.com early in March due to Covid-19. We accepted the cancellation fee as per terms and conditions, but Ta Victoria are continuously trying to take the money from our Revolut account despite the cancellation being in effect. They do not answer any of our calls or emails and worse yet - they have READ our Facebook messages but not even giving the courtesy of a reply. These charlatans are a disgrace to honest BnB owners in Gozo - do NOT book anything with them!
Hi everyone, a couple of months ago I booked 2 rooms through booking.com at Ta Victoria BnB in Gozo for 1 night stay (it was meant to be today). On the 13th of March, seeing that the covid situation was getting worse I sent them a request through booking.com to cancel the stay and added an extra request if they could waiver the cancellation fee. A few minutes later I see on Revolut that I got charged the 30% cancellation fee anyway but that wasn't an issue as they had every right. Today I was checking my Revolut and I see multiple attempts to take money from my account from said accomodation. I went on booking.com and I realise that they didn't cancel the booking. My mistake was that I didn't check this in March as I assumed it was cancelled when I've noticed the bank charge anyway. I've been trying to call them all day on multiple numbers, and contacted them on their messenger. They've seen the messages but haven't replied. I contacted booking.com and they cancelled the booking from their end and told me and confirmed that I shouldn't be paying any other charges. Lo and behold, Ta Victoria BnB tried to take money again half an hour ago! Thankfully I don't have money in my Revolut and I cannot top up before they stop trying to take money which isn't theirs. Dear Ta' Victoria B&B - Gozo owners can you please stop trying to take money which isn't yours??
The hosts are very helpful and welcoming. The farmhouse is situated in the quiet and tranquil village of Ghasri. It has a great pool area. I recommend the farmhouse for a relaxing stay in Gozo.
