This five star – 83 room – all bungalow type and complete with all modern facilities, terraces or gardens, offers a unique atmosphere with complete tranquillity and relaxation in unspoiled natural surroundings and beautiful laid out walkways flanked by flowering shrubs and mature trees.

Known as ‘the island within an island’, this private oasis with its adjoining 160 hectares of a vast rural wilderness, contains outstanding archaeological, ecological and geological features offering various prehistoric remains dating back to the Neolithic period (5000 years old) – the dolmens – sepulchral structures which formed the funerary chamber. Remains of the megalithic ‘Borg tal-Mramma’ Temple, the cart ruts and amongst other features – flora and fauna.

Besides its two tennis courts and the two enchanting swimming pools, the hotel also offers its own private rocky beach, located in the rocky fjord inlet in the hotel grounds and known for its savage beauty and its limpid clear sea.

The ‘Wellness Spa’ has been created for our esteemed clientele. The location of which has been carefully chosen to blend with the surroundings and of a ‘Trullo’ style of the Hotel suites which is a distinct feature of the centre. It includes an indoor/outdoor heated Swimming Pool, Gymnasium, Steam Bath, Finnish Sauna, Sun-Tanning Room, Masseur, Beauticians, Whirlpool Bath and others. All of the latest technology.

For conferences, incentives and cocktail receptions Hotel Ta’ Cenc offers the impressive Palazzo Palina, situated on the hotel grounds. Built in 1697 – 1720 by the Grand Master Ramon Perellos Y Roccaful of the Order of the Knights of St. John of Malta, it was used by the landlord who was in charge of the Ta’ Cenc territory.

Palazzo Palina
Few hotels can boast a 17th century palazzo within their grounds. The Ta’ Cenc Palazzo Palina has been lovingly restored to create a delightful venue for conferences, incentives, weddings or other occasions. Historians estimate that Palazzo Palina was built between 1697 and 1720, during the rule of Grand Master Ramon Perellos Y Roccaful. The coat of arms found within the building confirms this. Today the building has been restored to its former glory, making it the perfect event venue while still capturing the cultured wealth of medieval history. The palazzo is surrounded by patios, gardens and also enjoys a luscious courtyard typical of local architecture.

Sala il-Kbira is a spacious hall measuring 172sqm. It enjoys direct access to the outdoors and includes a pleasant reception area.

The Meeting Room is a 100sqm room adjacent to Sala il-Kbira, which can be used either additionally to or exclusively from our other meeting space.

Sala Cavalieri is situated within Palazzo Palina, the ideal spot for prestigious meals or meetings in the historic medieval surroundings of this delightful 17th Century palazzo that is situated within the hotel’s grounds. The space comprises of 160sqm indoors and a spacious courtyard outdoors, as well as all the modern facilities required by the MICE industry today.

Our helpful staff will be on hand to ensure that your meeting runs smoothly and that all technological aspects are taken care of. Meanwhile, the hotel can arrange for all facilities required including: an illuminated blackboard, screen, slide projector, sound system with microphones, flip charts, an overhead projector, projector screens, DVD players and monitor, multilingual simultaneous translation apparatus, a rear screen projector, video cameras, lighting equipment and roving microphones.
