Are you a vintage, classic or military vehicle enthusiast? Or do you simply love cars and motorbikes?
If yes, make sure that you take note of the 12th March, as one this date, FMVA (Federazzjoni Maltija Vetturi Antiki) will once again be organising its annual two-tier event for vintage, classic and military vehicles, consisting of a regularity run in Gozo and three rotating static shows in Gozo.
The Regularity Run: Marsalforn – Dwejra – Mġarr
On Sunday 12th March, the Regularity Run will start at around 9.00 when the vehicles will start gathering at the Marsalforn carpark. The first vehicle on the Regularity Run will leave the start at 10:01. The half way break will be located at Dwejra upper car park whilst the finish will be located at the Mġarr Harbour car park, situated at the end of the road past the Porto Vecchio restaurant. The first vehicle is due to arrive at Mġarr at about 12.00 noon.
Rotating Static Shows: Xagħra, Qala and Għajnsielem
The rotating shows of the vehicles will run from 9:00 to 15:30 in the villages of Xagħra, Qala or Għajnsielem. The show participants will rotate from one venue to another so it will be easy to admire the collection of vehicles at any of the above-mentioned villages. The vehicles at the rotating shows will be joined by the Regularity Run participants once they have reached the Finish in Mġarr.
This event will be the ninth of its kind and is being supported by the Ministry for Gozo and various Local Councils in both Malta and Gozo.
