October 4, 2018

Striking, diverse landscapes, clear blue skies and a magnificent sea are among the reasons why over the years Gozo has served as a backdrop for the film-making industry.

The island is not only endowed with natural beauty and fair weather that makes the job easier, but it is a location where expertise and skilled craftsmen are not difficult to come by. This coupled with a hard-working attitude and keen pride of excelling in one’s job makes the job of filming in Gozo much easier. During the summer season, one also has the benefit of long filming hours. Gozo is connected to mainland Malta via the ferry service and simply an hour away from the Malta International Airport. Thus travelling to and from Gozo is very convenient. On another note, Gozo has its own yacht marina.

Filming is hard work but nevertheless, Gozo allows you and your crew to unwind, chill and enjoy the island. Once off the set, nothing stops you from being a ‘regular’ tourist exploring the island, dining out, and mingling with the locals just like you were on holiday!
